When we began our journey 17 years ago, our task was to raise, educate, feed and tend to the health of 50 children orphaned by AIDS. Together, we've ensured that their needs were met so that they could discover and develop the individual interest and strengths that would launch them into independent adulthood. And it turns out that these kids are ambitious! They want to attend trade schools, certificate programs, apprenticeships and even universities, in order to ensure their financial self-sufficiency going forward. And we are committed to supporting their dreams. As we have done in the past, we are reaching out to donors and well-wishers to ask for help to fund the $1500 annual cost, per student, to cover the tuition, lodging and expenses associated with their ongoing education.
