Village Van's Fundraiser
Help us gift 360 new books to 90 LAUSD Early Childhood Education Centers
We're working with Culver City-based Ready, Set, Read! to inspire our region's youngest learners
Village Well is the proud parent of a new nonprofit: the Village Van, a mobile bookstore seeking to put new and relevant books into the hands of people in underserved communities and to provide readers with access to authors, illustrators and educators to harness the power of storytelling, foster community and enrich lives.
For our first Village Van project, we are thrilled to partner with the Culver City-based nonprofit Ready, Set, Read! - supplying books to support their parent-education programming at 90 LAUSD Early Childhood Education Centers. Each school will receive copies of these four beautiful picture books by local authors:

- Anzu the Great Kaiju by Benson Shum
- River of Mariposas by Mirelle Ortega, and
- Curve & Flow by Andrea J. Loney
