Village Van's Fundraiser
Community through storytelling
Village Well has been the proud parent of a nonprofit, The Village Van, since 2023.
We provide readers with access to books, authors, illustrators, and educators to harness the power of storytelling while fostering community and enriching lives.
In 2025, we have supported several organizations with similar missions: we partnered with Jumpstart, organized book drives for Children's Hospital LA's and the UCLA NICU, and collected donations for local community organizations West Los Respuesta Rápida and Westside Food Bank.
At the moment, we are supporting Ready, Set, Read! a nonprofit working in partnership with LAUSD’s Early Childhood Education Division to provide book access, educator support and family engagement to prepare children for kindergarten and lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
We will be collecting donations to help purchase brand new books for all 91 Early Education Centers in LAUSD, and raising awareness of the importance of early childhood literacy (come visit us in-store to learn more!).
