From the Edge of Life: Surviving Suicidal Ideation Docu-Series

Gina Cavalier suffered from suicidal thoughts most of her life until she committed to changing her life. She wanted to share this with the world once she had healed this in herself.

Please join Love and Media, LLC and Creative Visions Foundation to reach our goal of producing this ever-needed docu-series "From the Edge of Life: Surviving Suicidal Ideation" and getting it sold to help others who are suicidal.

Our people are sick. Beyond the well-publicized impact of COVID-19, there is a lesser-publicized pandemic affecting billions worldwide: suicide and suicidality. From the Edge of Life, Surviving Suicidal Ideation is a docu-series that will intellectually unpack the history of suicide globally and bring levity to the subject through storytelling.

Gina Cavalier has received two publishing deals on the subject. Her first book was released on 6/28/24 from the Swedenborg Foundation and co-authored by Dr. Amelia Kelley, titled "Surviving Suicidal Ideation: From Therapy to Spirituality and the Lived Experience." Max Balter, an international award-winning director from Ukraine, is the creative helm of the project where his father died by suicide when he was 11 years old.

The team will unpack and ask the hard pressing question of how, as we have become more wealthy, with more modernization and medicines, we are more suicidal than in the history of all time. We will interview thought-provoking experts, therapists, celebrities, historians, educators, the US surgeon general, military personnel, LGTBQIA, and data experts. The film aims to inspire and provide hope to our global community by exploring ways to heal and address this critical issue in our society, ultimately working towards saving lives.
