The True Superstars are Everyday People

JUST UP AHEAD is an 8-episode docuseries that celebrates stops on a road trip to feature interesting characters and unique locales—places that people often pass by and never see. The stories weave an inspirational and educational message throughout. The show is unique in that much of the storytelling is done through original songs by legendary former ELO Part II singer, Eric Troyer, who has recorded with a virtual who's who of rock and roll, including John Lennon, Billy Joel, Bonnie Tyler, James Taylor, KISS, Aerosmith, and Celine Dion. The project emphasizes universal themes, such as protecting our natural environment, creating solutions to identified needs, and living your dream with the freedom of creativity and personal responsibility.

JUST UP AHEAD is a love letter to the universal spirit of human creativity. Humans are amazing builders and creators, and when we have an environment that nurtures, our creativity can blossom and flower, just as it becomes clear that the interesting, ordinary people we feature in the show are really true superstars. We hope that viewers are inspired to make the world a better place, whether it be by protecting the environment, supporting family-owned businesses, or by using the power of their imagination to create art or entrepreneurial endeavors that makes a statement and feeds the soul.

We have filmed over 35 segments of the show, which address things like climate change, conservation, regenerative agriculture, celebration of the arts, conservation of light houses, small women-owned and family-owned business, embracing diversity and inclusive values.
