On January 7th, 2025 the Eaton Fire erupted in Altadena, CA, just as Eliot Arts Middle School finished their first rehearsal for their spring musical. Within hours, the school and neighborhood burned to the ground. Students, faculty, and parents faced a new reality. One where the only certainty was…the show must go on.
Our team, including Director Mahesh Pailoor, and Producers Dan Abramson, Diane Becker, and Melanie Miller captured the performance, the rehearsals, and embedded with many of the Eliot families as they recovered from the Eaton Fire. We have an assembly of the project and are fundraising to get the film through the rest of the editorial and post production process.
