Temple of Trees is an international documentary journey across time and culture. Each story centers on an ancient tree — a Sequoia or Bristlecone pine in California, a baobab in Botswana, an olive tree in Greece, a yew in the English countryside, and the haunting candelabra redwood on the California coast. At each site, we meet someone whose life has been profoundly shaped by their relationship to the tree: an elder, a poet, a scientist, a conservationist, a spiritual leader, or a musician. Their words form a mosaic of reverence and recognition, testifying to humanity’s enduring bond with these living elders.
