Soul Metaphors's Fundraiser
Support a Documentary Film on Alfred Adler
Help tell the forgotten story of the first psychiatrist to break with Sigmund Freud.
Who Was Alfred Adler?
Famous in his lifetime, pioneering Austrian psychiatrist Alfred Adler was largely forgotten after his death in 1937. His ideas, however, live on. He directly influenced such greats as Erik Erikson, Carl Rogers, and Abraham Maslow, changing the way psychologists understand human beings and the world. Adler's ideas could not be more relevant today. His groundbreaking theories about personal agency, creativity, belonging, and courage point the way toward living with purpose and in harmony in our troubled world.
