My personal story is rooted in lived experience and service.
I’m a nurse and a storyteller who has spent years caring for people and families impacted by mental illness, addiction, relapse, and recovery—both professionally and personally. I’ve seen how these struggles quietly unravel households, how stigma keeps people suffering in silence, and how love often becomes the last lifeline when systems fall short.
Still Here was born from those real moments—watching families fight for someone they love, witnessing resilience in the darkest seasons, and believing that healing is possible even when hope feels distant. This project is my way of turning pain into purpose and using storytelling to create empathy, awareness, and space for honest conversation—especially in communities where these stories are rarely told with dignity.
This cause isn’t theoretical to me. It’s personal. It’s the work of my hands, my heart, and my faith—and why I’m committed to telling this story responsibly and impactfully.
