As a cast member in Amistad and later the civilian male lead in a U.S. Marine Corps Public Service Announcement produced in partnership with the Department of Defense and the Naval Health Research Center following 9/11, my journey bridges two defining American narratives: the legacy of historical justice and the call to contemporary service.

In Amistad, I was part of a powerful retelling of resistance, dignity, and the enduring fight for freedom. The film brought global attention to a story of resilience and human rights rooted in American history. Years later, in the wake of September 11th, I served as the civilian male lead in a U.S. Marine Corps PSA supporting a national message of service, strength, and unity during a defining moment for our country.

This documentary explores the cultural and historical connections between America’s past and present — examining how stories of resilience, sacrifice, and identity continue to shape our national character. Through interviews with historians, military personnel, scholars, and cultural leaders, the film will illuminate the enduring relationship between historical memory and contemporary service.

Your support will directly fund research, interviews, archival licensing, and post-production — ensuring this story is told with depth, dignity, and historical integrity.

Join me in bringing this important American story to the screen — preserving history, honoring service, and inspiring future generations.
