Facing the Falls Educational Initiative's Fundraiser
A Short Film. A Big Impact on Students, Teachers, and Schools.
Donate today to help bring this free, accessible educational initiative to more students, teachers, and schools.

I made the Facing the Falls Educational Initiative to create something that could do real work in the world, especially for students and teachers.
Students today are carrying so much: pressure, uncertainty, questions about identity and belonging, and too few opportunities to reflect deeply on what it means to live with courage, empathy, and respect for difference.
Teachers are also being asked to do more than ever, often with limited time, limited resources, and very little support.
This initiative was built to meet both of those realities.
For students, it offers a powerful story and accessible learning tools that open space for reflection, discussion, confidence, empathy, and belonging. It helps young people think more deeply about disability, resilience, leadership, and how they treat others and see themselves.
For teachers, it provides a ready-to-use resource they do not have to build from scratch. It is designed to support meaningful classroom conversations without adding to an already overwhelming workload.
That is why donor support matters so much. Your contribution helps keep this initiative free and accessible to schools, expand its reach to more students and educators, support live school engagements, and build the next phase of the work, including an ASL version of the film and adapted resource guides for universities and workplaces.
This is more than supporting a film's social impact. It is investing in students, easing the burden on teachers, and helping build more inclusive schools and communities, one classroom at a time.
Thank you for your generous donation!
